Take the Wanaka Experience trip to the next level and enjoy two alpine landings overlooking Wanaka and the local area. Following your 4000ft high alpine landing spot, you will then continue to fly over the Matukituki River and some of Wanaka's Islands, such as Mou Waho island, a unique glacial remnant of the last ice age, as well as some of our Nature Reserve islands in Lake Wanaka.

The flight will proceed further down Lake Wanaka with views up into the Mount Aspiring National Park, before cutting through Stevenson's arm. Take in vistas of Lake Hawea and across another part of the Wanaka township on route to return to the airport.
