Mt Aspiring Explorer

Following your landing spot, you will fly further into the Southern Alps and around the back of Mount Aspiring to see some truly impressive glaciers, crevasses, shear ice faces of bright blue compacted ice, frozen waterfalls seeing as far as the Tasman Sea on a good day.

Joining back onto the initial route, you will fly back over the Matukituki River, over Glendhu Bay, tussock sheep grazing country, past Mount Roy and over the Wanaka township before returning back to Wanaka Airport.
