Hot Seat - Training Experience

The Hot Seat training experience is perfect for anyone curious about starting helicopter flight training journey or as a memorable gift for someone eager to experience the thrill of flying with a skilled instructor.

Your experience begins with a pre-flight briefing, where your instructor will guide you through the helicopter’s controls, key flight principles, and what to expect during the lesson. You’ll then take to the skies, flying to our low-flying area at the airport to practice basic manoeuvres such as hovering and controlling the helicopter. Once you’ve gained confidence, you’ll enjoy flying over the scenic Wānaka area, taking in breathtaking views while honing your skills.

During the session, you’ll also learn about essential factors involved in flying, including weather considerations, radio communications, and interacting with other aircraft. After returning to the airfield, your instructor will conduct a debriefing to recap the lesson and discuss your progress.

This hands-on experience is an unforgettable adventure for anyone who has dreamed of flying a helicopter.

This is a 1-hour session which includes 30 minutes of lesson and 30 minutes of flying priced at $575 per person.
